"YAMASTA" is a "Yama Stamp Rally App®" produced by Yamato Keikokusha.

Using your smartphone's GPS function, you can collect digital stamps to commemorate your hiking or mountain climbing. All basic functions can be used for free.

You can enjoy looking at the stamps you earn like a collection, and the more you use them, the more you enjoy them.

[How to enjoy Yamasta]

◆ Participate in the stamp rally and collect stamps

A commemorative digital stamp will be issued when you check-in at a stamp rally course across Japan or at a tourist attraction or mountain that is eligible for check-in. Collect stamps and create your own stamp book!

The stamp design differs depending on the check-in location. You can look forward to seeing what kind of stamps you will get after checking in.

◆Map function that allows you to check your current location and check-in location

With the newly added map function, you can check your current location and check-in location on the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan map or Google Map. Additionally, course maps are prepared for some stamp rally events. By obtaining the data in advance, you can view the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan map and course map even in the mountains where there is no mobile signal. Please download and use it before going out.

◆Get great deals with Yamasta limited coupons

We are distributing electronic coupons exclusive to Yamasta that can be used at restaurants and facilities around the course. Use it before or after your hike or while taking a break to enjoy stamp rallies at a great price.

◆Collect stamps and get original novelties

At some stamp rally events, when you collect stamps, you can get original novelties on a first-come, first-served basis or through a lottery. The conditions for acquiring novelty items vary depending on the stamp rally event, so please check the Yamasta website for details.

◆Achieve the stamp rally and get a trophy

You can earn trophies based on your stamp rally accomplishments. In addition to stamp rally achievement trophies, there are also limited-time trophies and hidden trophies.

◆Earn by checking in! Yahoo points

When you check in at tourist attractions or mountain peaks and earn stamps, you will receive Yahoo Points, and your Yahoo Level will increase according to the points you earn.

◆Paid service “Yahoo Member”

The basic functions can be used for free, but if you join the paid service ``Yahoo Member'', you will be able to use convenient functions such as the ``self-stamp issuing function'' and ``auto check-in function''. ・Self-stamp issuing function

Users can issue stamps for up to 10 locations per year, such as mountains they climbed before they started using Yamasta or places they forgot to check in.

・About the auto check-in function

This feature automatically issues a stamp when you arrive at the check-in location, preventing you from forgetting to check-in.

* Regarding the use of foreground service privileges: The auto check-in function will obtain foreground location information after obtaining permission from the user. The foreground service is only used when checking in to a spot using the auto check-in function.

●Please note

・Yamasta allows you to check in even in places where there is no cell phone signal. Depending on the performance of your smartphone and conditions such as weather and terrain, the accuracy of your smartphone's GPS may deteriorate and you may not be able to check-in. Stamps are issued by applying to the secretariat, so please check the application method on the website. Also, depending on your smartphone, it may be difficult to use.

- Be sure to allow the alert that appears when you start the app for the first time asking whether to allow the use of location information services. If you refuse, you can change the settings by accessing the iPhone's Settings > Privacy > Location Services.

・If you have any questions or comments regarding the app, please contact us from the app's "Menu" > "Inquiries".

・When checking in, please stop and check the safety of your surroundings before proceeding. In order to ensure safe use, we have set a wide check-in area, so you can check-in even if you are a little far from the designated location.

・GPS is used in the background for check-in functions, notification distribution, etc. Please note that this may consume some battery power.
